1.
You could be the one who I would die for Fill my lungs with lye for And be the one I could cry for Break my heart inside for You, anything for You could be the one I would set fire for Lie in the flame and writhe for And be the one I go blind for Gladly lose my mind for You, anything for (Casio flute solo) You could be the one Who I would bleed for Salt in my wound and seethe for And be the one I don't breathe for Cover my eyes and believe for You, anything for

You can open every doorway And never leave the room You can curate every fantasy And never see what's true But you already know that There's nothing left to prove So take its worth and weigh it It all amounts to nothing in the end There's a picture of a picture On every single screen On purpose accidentally On the wall of the museum But you don't need me to tell you That it doesn't mean a thing So take its worth and weigh it It all amounts to nothing in the end (E-bow solo) It's a strange interpretation All colorful and bright A forced perspective portrait Of manipulated light But you already heard that It's all a waste of time Yeah you already know that It's heavy on your mind No I don't need to tell you What's weighing on the line Because you already know that Now the only thing worth being Is impossible to be Yeah the only dream worth dreaming now Is a new reality And I hate to disappoint you But I wouldn't count on me So take it all and make it Into something worth it in the end

Baby Don't 07:52
Shoeless and terrified Left it all at the poolside Heartbroken misty-eyed All alone in the cruel night Never gave a reason why Strung out and sanctified Lay it down and open wide Star-struck and fantasized Broken body no appetite Couldn't give up, couldn't try And I can't lie So don't hold nothing back Baby, don't hold nothing back Cuz there's nothing wrong with that It just hurts sometimes Sun sick and mystified Disappearing like poltergeist Hung up and left to dry Bleeding out under an arid sky Digging in to pay the price But I'll be fine So don't hold nothing back Baby, don't hold nothing back No, there's nothing wrong with that It just hurts sometimes And I can't lie But I'll be fine (Guitar solo) Don't hold nothing back Baby, don't hold nothing back Cuz there's nothing wrong with that It's true

about

Actual Replica Vol. I & II began in January 2015 as our attempt at putting together a 4th full length album. Due to a series of changes within the band and in the name of forward progress, these songs were then shelved and nearly forgotten. By the time of the eventual dispersion of the band, they had been buried in the archives on a dusty hard drive. Revisited over two years later, the songs felt like they wanted to be heard and seemed worth sharing. Consider them items from a time capsule of late 2014/early 2015 the Soil & the Sun. At the same time, however strangely, the songs appear to be more personally relevant, and maybe they will also make sense as a part of the broader context in which we currently exist. Wherever they find you, I hope that you find them enjoyable and meaningful. Thanks for listening. With love from the Soil & the Sun.
